MTF Malaysia has replaced its manual certification process with a fully automated, blockchain-secured system — the first of its kind deployed by a national sports federation.
The Edge Malaysia and Bernama — “A proof point for a tamper-proof certification issuance and verification model that can be extended to other sports bodies, educational authorities and organisations that rely on certification systems.”
As part of its broader digital transformation initiative, MTF adopted the new global ITF student system — creating a unified digital foundation for grading records.
ProofEasy was directly integrated with the ITF application via API, enabling seamless certificate generation based on verified student grading data. Built in consultation with Malaysia’s blockchain infrastructure (MBI), spearheaded by MIMOS Berhad, it provides a trusted national foundation for certification.
Instead of manually printing and managing QR codes separately, certificates are now generated in bulk with a single click — directly from the grading system.

Certificate management features such as blocking, re-issuing, bulk downloads, and printing are fully synchronized between the ITF system and the ProofEasy platform.
All branding and verification pages are fully customised to MTF’s identity, while digital certificates are securely stored within MTF-owned infrastructure.
The transition moved MTF from a fragmented manual workflow to a fully integrated, automated, and secure certification ecosystem — designed in a way that can be replicated across other ITF member countries.
