MSU implemented ProofEasy to strengthen the security of its academic certificates and enable instant, publicly verifiable digital credentials — all while maintaining continuity across its existing academic systems..
Tamper-proof certificates
Fast Implementation
Verification for all stakeholders
MSU partnered with ProofEasy to introduce a blockchain-secured certificate issuance and verification framework that worked with their existing systems. Collaborating closely with the MSU’s in-house development and IT teams, ProofEasy implemented an API-driven solution that added a tamper-proof verification layer to all certificates — without requiring any infrastructural changes.
A key aspect of this collaboration involved thoroughly understanding MSU’s existing workflows and processes. Then the solution was integrated with the university’s registrar systems responsible for issuing certificates, ensuring that credential generation and verification could occur seamlessly within existing workflows.
The institution’s admin portal allows secure template creation, data import, certificate management, and instant publishing. Each certificate features a public QR code tied to its blockchain-secured cryptographic fingerprint. The fingerprint ensures authenticity and prevents tampering, while the QR code enables instant verification by students, employers, and institutions using any standard scanner.
For micro-credentials, the university already used QR codes as part of its verification approach. It was upgraded into blockchain-secured QR codes, adding a tamper-proof verification layer while preserving the familiar user experience
This migration from manual processes to a secure, real-time verification model was completed in just a month, giving the university a modern, scalable foundation for credential security.
